
AUBERON JELEEL ODOOM

Auberon Jeleel Odoom is a passionate human rights defender and currently serves as the African Regional Representative of Inclusion International, the global network of persons with intellectual disabilities and their families, representing more than 200 members in 115 countries. He holds two master’s degrees, one from the University of Pretoria in Disability Rights with Distinction, and the previous one from the University of Development Studies in Organisation Development with Whole System Transformation as a major. Jeleel is a governance and disability expert of repute and is thoroughly experienced in social protection, inclusive education, and training for impact approaches.
Jeleel currently serves on the Councils of African Disability Forum, Africa Platform for Social Protection, Autism Society of West Africa, Africa Dementia Support Services, and Special Olympics Ghana. He is a core member of the steering committee of the Civil Society Co-ordination Mechanism responsible for promoting the active participation and meaningful engagement of all persons with disabilities in the Conference of States Parties through a unified voice.
